BE LIKE JESUS The incredible thing about Jesus was he always gave the people something to talk about – stories, miracles or standing up to authority. Jesus calls us. We follow. We feel the love, experience the fellowship, find a place to grow and belong and then we reach out to others. We don’t have to memorize the Bible or know all the answers. All we have to do is be sincere and invite others to a Corinth activity, event or worship service. What does that look like? The other day, I had plans to go visit members but the members were under the weather and my car was getting the oil changed. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work; If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!
